Wine Collection
Manitoba Club's wine cellar, encompassing over 500 wines, requires a high level of care when representative varietals are sourced. Club Sommelier, Domer Rafael, ISG, ensures our cellar remains current by today’s taste preferences while respecting the palates of traditionalists to ensure that our members and guests experience pairings of unparalleled quality.
Manitoba Club's wine collection is available to members in our members-only private dining rooms, at private club events and through corporate and private bookings. Our Sommelier will host special wine tastings and wine dinners throughout the year to introduce new wines, or to rediscover an old favourite.
The club also offers members the exclusive opportunity to purchase bottles and cases from our private collection through our partnership with a private wine store. This special collection of wines is imported to the Province exclusively for Manitoba Club members and is available for take-out and delivery (monthly and quarterly subscriptions are also available). The overwhelming majority of wines selected have been scored 85-points (or better) by the World's most respected wine publications and represent great value (starting at $19 per bottle), are of amazing quality and arrive to the club in very limited quantities. The full wine offering can be reviewed by members on the private side of the club's website in an interactive format with descriptions, wine scores from leading publications, prices and allocation at the time the wine was released to the program.
Our Sommelier is available to suggest wine pairings while members dine at the club or for the take-out. Enquiries from non-members for wine pairings are welcome when corporate events, special occasions, banquets and weddings are booked at the club.
Manitoba Club | Wine welcomes members to the world of wine. Established and aspiring wine connoisseurs have access to the club’s private wine offering curated by the club’s Sommelier, Domer Rafael, ISG. The club's private wine collection comprises delightful reds, whites, roses and bubblies not otherwise available for sale in the Province of Manitoba. Manitoba Club | Wine subscribers receive personalized consultations with our Sommelier to help tailor selections to specific taste preferences. At private wine tastings, subscribers receive informative introductions to new releases before the offering is announced to the general membership. Manitoba Club | Wine subscribers also receive the first opportunity to purchase wines with limited allocations. Take-out wines are available to Manitoba Club members through our special arrangement with a private wine store.
An exquisite wall-to-wall wine library displays the club's ever-changing wine offering in the lobby. Up to 54 Manitoba Club | Wine subscribers may reserve units in this climate-controlled wine locker system providing access to their private collection while dining at the club ($10 corkage fee for subscribers and $25 for non-locker subscribers). Manitoba Club | Wine subscribers receive complimentary use of the club's Coravin Wine System which allows small pours while preserving the remaining wine in the bottle (for cork or stelvin closures).
